Over Two Decades of Impact
The story behind the BDO Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race
Founded in 2006, the BDO Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race began with humble beginnings, bringing together just six boats and a small group of participants. From the outset, the race was created to support Cedars CanSupport, the supportive care mission of the Cedars Cancer Centre at the MUHC.
A key part of this growth has been the steadfast support of BDO (formerly FL Fuller Landau), which has served as the event’s title partner since 2007. Through the dedication of BDO’s employees, families, and friends, nearly $8 million has been raised in support of Cedars CanSupport.
Today, the race continues to be made possible through the dedication of its partners, donors, paddlers, and volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to supporting those facing cancer.
