NOTE: This is NOT the same location where the practices were held.
Race Day is on Saturday, September 20, 2014. The day begins at 7am. Each team is assigned a 10â€™ x 10â€™ tent as their official gathering point and is greeted by a volunteer Team Ambassador. Each paddler is given a breakfast, snacks and lunch and will race 2 or 3 times. Also on site are food stands, a Kidz Zone and the Cedars Boutique, and there is music and entertainment throughout the day. Sponsors and major donors are invited to join the Cedars Cancer Institute Board and the event Steering Committee in the Order of the Dragon VIP tents. The event is open to the public and is well attended by friends and family of the paddlers as well as Cedars supporters and the general public. Races and all activities wrap up at approximately 3pm when the Closing Ceremonies take place and winning teams and top fundraisers are announced.
